We would not mind seeing the overseas T-Roc compact crossover here in The United States and Canada. Additionally, this looks like a more rational solution than a completely new nameplate. However, Volkswagen chose to include another new crossover to the existing fleet in the United States. The SUV will be ready to make its main debut before the end of the next year.
2021 Volkswagen Tarek Design
This new SUV will have a compact footprint and seats for five passengers. It’s going to be produced at VW’s existing plant in Pueblo, Mexico and will be offered in Argentina too.
According to the manufacturer, the crossover which will be called the 2021 Volkswagen Tarek will slot right behind the Tiguan. The Tarek will look practically similar to the Tharu SUV introduced previously this year in China and Russia. In addition to quite an attractive exterior style, the new vehicle will deliver enough space inside thanks to its 105 inches of wheelbase. More exactly, the car will offer around 16 cubic feet of the cargo area. The room jumps to 54 cubic feet with the rear bench folded flat.
2021 Volkswagen Tarek Engine
The new crossover will get a small, yet effective option under the hood. As far as we have heard, the 2021 Volkswagen Tarek will utilize a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine capable of producing 148 horsepower. The unit will supply the front axle through a six-speed automated transmission. The carmaker didn’t want to expose there going to be an offered all-wheel-drive system or some additional engine alternative, or just how much is going to cost the new compact crossover, so stay tuned for updates.
